The organ was restored by CATOE in the 1960's. During the years the organ had not been used, several ranks of pipes had been removed (some by sale and some possibly by theft). CATOE acquired pipework to replace the missing ranks. The Trumpet and at least one Tibia are not original. The Posthorn may or may not be original (it is possible they may have bought back the organ's original posthorn). After LOLTOS (Land of Lincoln Theatre Organ Society) was formed, care of the organ was ceded to LOLTOS. After being closed for two years for renovation and restoration, the Coronado reopened in January, 2001. The Barton Organ has been fitted with a new Uniflex Relay and combination action, and the console has been e-painted to the original "circus wagon gold and crackled red. The organ has been re-specified to a modern stoplist. Although some of the pipework is not original, the generic list of ranks is the same as that of the original.
